Macbeth's Favorite Shows
- How to Get Away with Murder- Obviously Macbeth loves to watch this TV series because that is one of his goals, he strives to successfully get away with the murders so that he can still gain the power. He recommends this show to anyone seeking revenge or trying to gain power.
- Ghost Hunters- Ever since the appearance of Banquo's ghost at the banquet he's always wanted to have someone help him figure it out. Once he found ghost hunters he was immediately hooked and wanted to keep watching to figure out how to catch the ghost of Banquo.
- Harry Potter- Another series that Macbeth would recommend is Harry Potter. He is completely influenced by the super natural but doesn't notice it, therefore, leading him into enjoying films with witchcraft in them.
- Lion King- In the lion king Mufasa's brother betrays him and kills him. Macbeth loves this movie because he can really relate to the character Scar, because he knows the struggle to do whatever you have to gain power.
Carrie, my favorite of the recommendations was the Lion King! I loved how you related his lust for power to that of Scar's! Also, I thoroughly enjoyed your sarcastic and funny writers voice in your blog. Great job!

I haven't heard of the first two shows, but I like how they directly relate to Macbeth and his action of killing King Duncan. I like how you brought notice upon the witchcraft and wizardry in Harry Potter. While I am not a Harry Potter fan, I'm sure Macbeth would have loved it! Haha. I agree with Marin that Lion King was my favorite Netflix selection. Whenever I watch the movie, I never really think about Scar, just the cute little lion cubs that grow up, but I like how you looked into the movie deeper in order to find a connection. Good job!!
